Love your comparison to Percy Harvin. I hadn't ever thought of it that way, but I think it's spot on. What could have been, indeed.

Really good analysis. And yeah, we probably relied too much on him and that helped wear him down. Using the threat of Dalvin to help set up the pass was probably a better idea than actually just grinding away with Dalvin.

Last year, while he a few awesome plays it just seemed as he was not as elusive as before...

But better to be a year early than a year late especially with a $10mm rb. In any case, he deserves to be in the ring of honor.

No issue with your pointing out the not guilty, it’s a relevant fact.

The justice system was originally designed to protect private property, and later to prevent the King/government from crushing individuals. Taking a step back and looking at it from 6000 years or so of human history, it’s wonderful progress.

But it does a terrible job of addressing domestic violence—especially when the victim is still alive. (Murder victims don’t have to report a crime, give evidence, get deposed/cross-examined in front of their attacker, or face public blowback.)

Everything we know about domestic abusers is that they are serial offenders. The fact that Cook has a repeated history of this conduct is not enough for him to be incarcerated, but there is plenty of reason to conclude he is one.
