Can we please stop with the injury excuse…this defense was bad before the injuries piled up. Before Hunter got hurt yes they were sacking the QB but they were getting shredded by the run and they couldn’t stop teams from scoring at will before the half. Injuries are a part of the league…the Ravens have like half their team in IR and they are in first place, the Packers have had massive injuries and they are in first place. Zimmer has lost his fastball and the league knows what he is going to do and have seen little to no adjustments from him. The writing was on the wall in 2019 and should have moved on but this team cherishes mediocrity and wanted to do more of the same. If Mike goes which is a certainty, Rick has to go too…this is on him just as much as Zimmer. If Rick goes, Matthew and Sam don’t have to write 15 different draft write-ups after the draft each year as the 7th rd pick fetish is gone
Upcoming Friday could be Black Friday and not waiting for Black Monday after the season. If they struggle with Detroit's defense what are they gonna do with the Steelers defense which is much better
